Cinderella!!!

So, I went to see the live action Cinderella today and it was pretty damn great, in my opinion.

But before I get into it, the short film, Frozen Fever, is super cute! I loved it. It had some weird things that I questioned, but it's a kids thing so whatever.

In the Cinderella movie I feel like they gave the stepmother more dimension as a character, like I could understand her treatment of Cinderella a bit better, like it's still bitchy and terrible, but I can understand the way she was thinking. The stepsisters are still kinda flat in my opinion though. I was disappointed in the lack of singing in the movie, to be honest, I was expecting the classic songs, but oh well. I enjoyed that they added a bit more to the romance between Cinderella and the prince (Who now has a name) to explain why they wanted to get together, but still kinda quick. Over all I found the movie to be pretty great and I'd probably see it again. 


Also, in the ballroom scene where Cinderella and the prince are dancing, I saw girls wearing dresses styled after the other Disney princesses, I saw Tiana, Snow White, Belle, Aurora, possibly Rapunzel, and my boyfriend said he saw a Jasmine. And I got really excited over that.
